A high-level CME "ALLERGY UPDATE" was grandly organized today at the Hotel Spice Petal, Gaurav Path, Pal by IMA SURAT under the guidance of Convenor Dr. Parul Vadgama.
Over 200 doctors from across the city participated.
The event was organized by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Surat, with the collaboration of:

The program commenced with the IMA prayer and flag hoisting by IMA SURAT Secretary Dr. Haresh Bhavsar.
Dr. Mukur Petrolwala, President of IMA Surat, extended a warm welcome to all guests and delegates.
The traditional "Deep Pragatya" was performed by the heads of all participating associations, including Dr. Nikunj Vithalani (President, SMCA), Dr. Tarun Chavda (President, APS), Dr. Akshat Khemka (Secretary, SPACT), Dr. Ajit Maheshwari (President, FPA), and Dr. Ashwin Vaghani (President, ACPS).
Dr. Khyati Shamaliya and Dr. Neeraj Gupta discussed precision in history taking and the latest in molecular diagnostics and skin testing.
Dr. Mitesh Kakkad provided insights into Chronic Urticaria and Atopic Dermatitis.
Dr. Taresh Patel and Dr. Samir Gami presented on food allergies, drug allergies, and the critical management of anaphylaxis.
Dr. Prakhar Agarwal concluded the morning sessions with a deep dive into Immunotherapy.
Dr. Rohit Agarwal addressed Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis.
The afternoon session featured a practical, hands-on Skin Prick Test (SPT) Demonstration by Dr. Taresh Patel and Dr. Bhavesh Vaghani, allowing attendees to observe real-world diagnostic applications.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Nikunj Vithlani, President of SMCA
Dr. Trupti Patel and Dr. Asha Gundrasia handled the event smoothly as the MOCs.
